They had come a long way since they met at that dance-drama they were performing in. A love story, several promotions, a new home and two children later, they were farther away from dance, which was their first love, than the stars were to rainbows. Until one day, the skies conspired to inspire them back to their feet.

As the rain drops pittered and pattered all night, they couldn’t help but notice the rhythm and their hearts led them back to dance, hand-in-hand!

This is a beautiful purple handloom cotton saree with stripes that will make your heart skip a beat!

This is a handloom cotton saree.
Handloom cotton is woven using hand operated looms. Two sets of interlacing yarns, the warp (length) and weft (width), are woven on a mechanised loom operated by weavers. Human handling lends the fabrics a unique feel and renders the fabrics more value, making it extremely comfortable to wear. Handloom cotton is more breathable and thus feels lighter in summers and is perfect for layering in winters.
The art of hand weaving is labour intensive and takes a relatively longer time. But, the beauty it adds to the fabric is priceless. Choosing handloom cotton supports the rich weaving heritage of India and lets the weavers carry on the precious art-form to the future generations as well.
