What You will Recieve: 1 Saree

Chase the small joys of life in Raye, a black and white Chanderi silk saree. Named after Rai (mustard seeds) or Raidana Bandhej — the smallest Bandhani motif — this handloom saree celebrates the tie-and-dye technique for its immensity. Its statement Shibori palla will sway your heart. The black blouse piece also flaunts bandhani and zari work so that the look oozes richness.

Get ready to be catapulted to the wondrous crafts of Kutch.

Chanderi is a luxurious breezy fabric. Silk, cotton and zari are woven together on the warp and weft in various combinations to create different textures – the resultant fabric looks luscious and feels exceptionally comfortable.

Shibori is a manual resist-dyeing technique of producing intricate patterns on fabric. There are numerous ways in which the fabric can be bound, stitched, folded, twisted or compressed. And each of these ways results in different patterns. Bandhani, an ancient tie-dye technique, dates back to 4,000 BCE. Bandhani is a highly skilled process and involves tying portions of the fabric with thread before dying, to produce intricate patterns. We have implemented these time-honed arts on Chanderi silk to create lightweight and stunning sarees. It is no surprise that this dynamic fabric was favoured by royalty and continues to be a hot favourite, especially for the festive season.
