Why is it that the blossoms of everyday seem brighter today? Like the red of my smile rubbed off. Or, is it vice versa? There is something so empowering about waking up to love. Love for the world, for the people in it and most importantly, love for oneself. It takes many a night to arrive at this morning sometimes. Sometimes, all it takes is a moment of truth. But then, every bit is worth it. I open my arms wide to embrace all of the beautiful souls that woke up in love today and I send back love to all the rest to arrive soon so we can hold hands to walk together.

This saree is made of a gorgeous hand-woven silk fabric. Silk is a natural animal-based fiber that has centuries of history. It has always been considered the most regal of fabrics and remains the most festive, alluring fabric in the modern wardrobe as well. The fine weave of this fabric from the weaving communities of West Bengal makes it very malleable, soft, light-weight and a dream to drape. Over 40 artisans and weavers have worked to craft this collection of handloom sarees and the weavers create magic on their looms, as they take 20 days and sometimes 25 days to weave one single saree, and pour their love into the fabric for it to take life in our wardrobe. And, when the fabric takes shape, the characteristic shine of the silk and the comfort of its texture inevitably become a combination that can win hearts over.
