There, she could buy whatever her heart desired and her mother would not object. Shed spend hours at the store, marvelling at the bright colours and the curious shapes. Although she was now a grown woman who didnt have to count on her mother for her allowance, the tradition had lingered. And, for those moments, it felt as though she was transported to the Candy-land of her childhood, all over again.

Reminisce about your sweetest memories, when you wear this beautiful orange kurta thats paired with white bottoms. The kurta is made of handloom Jamdani cotton, while the bottoms are made of silk. This set includes an under-layer.

Jamdani is also referred to as extra-weft ornamentation, on-loom embroidery, or discontinuous weft. The patterns are developed on graph paper and fastened under the warp. A weaver then painstakingly works the on-loom embroidery using needles or extra weft shuttles, creating each motif individually. Jamdani fabrics feel delicate and opulent while also being light, comfortable and very fashion-forward.
