Posting transformations was the latest Instagram trend and there was no getting away from it “ no matter where she looked, all she saw was pictures and text of people being too harsh and critical to their younger selves, although almost mocking the person they used to be. But with Geet, it was the opposite. Shed gained a little weight since shed begun her dream job and the late hours and stress often took a toll on her once-clear skin. Yes, it wasnt exactly a ˜glow up but it was a transformation she was proud of. Handloom cotton is handwoven by our weavers on mechanical looms. The process is time and labour-intensive, using techniques that have been passed down across generations of artisans. The resultant fabric is extraordinarily soft, breathable and resilient, and also drapes very well. Using handloom cotton not only helps us to work with smaller weavers but also plays an important role in reducing the environmental footprint of the garments we produce. The addition of zari adds a regal sheen to this saree, making it as beautiful as it is comfortable.
