What You will Recieve: 1 Saree

Yes, it was just a language, but shed always been made to feel as though not being fluent in English made her a flawed human being. That she was, and would never be, good enough. Her own family mocked her, conveniently ignoring the fact that she had sacrificed her own education to support her siblings, when they lost their parents. But Shashi was nothing is not fearless. She continued to persevere on the professional trajectory shed carved out for herself, gaining in stature and prominence until international organisations began to notice the work her NGO was doing for underprivileged children. As she boarded the flight to an awards ceremony in Stockholm, she chuckled at the realisation that her lack of English knowledge hadnt stopped her from being the first in the family to travel abroad or be honoured with such recognition. Even the speech she planned to give was in Hindi and, if anything, it only made her prouder to stay authentic to her humble roots.

Just like Shashi, from English Vinglish, dont let anyone dull your shine as you take on the world in this lovely saree, made of handloom cotton, and zari.

Handloom cotton is handwoven by our weavers on mechanical looms. The process is time and labour-intensive, using techniques that have been passed down across generations of artisans. The resultant fabric is extraordinarily soft, breathable and resilient, and also drapes very well. Using handloom cotton not only helps us to work with smaller weavers but also plays an important role in reducing the environmental footprint of the garments we produce. The addition of zari adds a regal sheen to this saree, making it as beautiful as it is comfortable.
