Level 3: Dance of Ember

Tara found herself at the gaping mouth of a large and mysterious cave, from which emerged an otherworldly golden glow. She didn’t need to hear the loud roars that emerged from the darkness – she could already tell it was a dragon’s lair. To sneak past the dragon, however, would mean having to wait until it fell asleep. And she didn’t know how long that might take. She was also worried that the dragon might think she wanted to steal the treasure it was guarding, which would only make matters worse.

So, Tara decided to do the unthinkable – she decided to befriend the dragon and win its trust. Slowly, she inched towards the crave, crouching low so she would not be perceived as a threat and bringing a small token of fruit as a peace offering. It was hard to tell who was more surprised when their paths crossed – the dragon suspiciously sniffed at the fruit and then wolfed it down. It inched closer to Tara and sniffed her, nudging her gently with its snout. She decided to stay a while and pet it. For, everyone needs a friend sometimes. When it was time to leave, the dragon unfurled its large wings and swept the darkness aside with a bellied roar – the small balls of fire that emerged from its throat lit up the way so she could safely proceed. And, although she’d never imagined things would go this way, a part of her heart was sad at having to leave her new friend behind.

Make new friends wherever you go, when you wear this stunning printed saree made of modal viscose and illustrated with the might of a fire-breathing dragon.

Viscose and modal are bio-based fibres derived from plants. They are extracted from a compound called cellulose, which lends stiffness and support to plants. This cellulose is realigned to create a fabric that is soft, durable and breathable. When both the fibres are combined, modal imparts lightness and a rich feel to the fabric. Both the fibres are responsibly sourced and have a low carbon footprint.
