Silk is prized for its lustrous and luxurious look and feel, and is also said to be one of the strongest natural fabrics in the world.

Georgette is a type of crepe fabric that is sheer and lightweight, and has a dull matte finish. It is made with highly twisted yarns. The fabric's characteristic crinkled surface is created by alternating S and Z twist yarns in both the warp and weft.
